01 Who we are
SaveFounders ("SaveFounders", "we", "us" or "our") helps founders get time back by building them an AI Executive Assistant and training them to run it.
This website and our services are operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] Pty Ltd, ABN [ABN], of [REGISTERED ADDRESS], Australia. For clients in the United States, services may be provided by our US affiliate, [US ENTITY NAME, STATE].
We're committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), and we apply equivalent care for our US clients.
02 What this policy covers
This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to:
- our website at savefounders.com and any landing pages, quizzes, calculators or forms we run;
- booking and attending an eligibility call with us;
- our paid services (the Build Your Race Car, Race School, Grand Prix and Upgrade engagements); and
- our emails, ads and other communications.
It does not cover third-party websites or tools we link to — each has its own privacy policy.
03 Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details — your name, email, phone number and business name (for example, when you book a call, fill in a form, or use one of our tools).
- Business information — details about your business, your role, your tools and where you're losing time, so we can assess fit and tailor our help. This may come up in a quiz, a form, or during a call.
- Anything you send us — the content of emails, messages and call discussions.
- Payment information — when you buy a service, payment is processed by our payment provider ([Stripe]). We receive confirmation of payment but do not store your full card details.
Information we collect automatically
- Usage & device data — your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, how you arrived (e.g. which ad or link), and how you interact with our site.
- Cookies & similar technologies — see Cookies & tracking below.
Information from third parties
- Advertising & analytics platforms — such as Google and Meta, which tell us how our ads and site are performing.
- Referrals — if someone refers you, we may receive your name and contact details to follow up.
04 How we use your information
We use your personal information to:
- respond to your enquiries and run your eligibility call;
- assess whether our service is a fit for you, and deliver it if you go ahead;
- process payments and keep records of our engagement;
- send you service updates, and (with your consent) marketing about SaveFounders;
- understand and improve our website, ads and offer;
- keep our business secure and meet our legal obligations.
We only use your information for the reasons we collected it, for a directly related reason you'd reasonably expect, or where you've given consent or the law allows.
07 Your information during a build
This part matters, so we're being clear about it. When we build and train your AI Executive Assistant, we may help you connect it to your own business tools (like your email, calendar or documents). When we do:
- we only access what's needed to set up and train your assistant, with your permission;
- you stay in the driver's seat — your assistant can't send or delete things without you;
- you own everything we build — at handover, the accounts, tools and assistant are yours. There's no lock-in;
- we do not use your business data to train public AI models, and we don't keep copies of your business data after handover beyond what we need for our records or you ask us to keep;
- AI features run through trusted providers such as Anthropic (Claude), under their enterprise privacy terms.
The specific terms of a paid engagement are set out in your service agreement, which sits alongside this policy.
08 Where your information is stored & overseas disclosure
We're based in Australia, but some of the tools we use (such as Google, Meta, HubSpot, Vercel, [Stripe] and Anthropic) store data on servers in the United States and other countries.
That means your personal information may be stored or processed overseas. We take reasonable steps to ensure these providers protect your information to a standard consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.
09 How we keep your information secure
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access — including using reputable, access-controlled tools, limiting who can see your data, and keeping our systems up to date.
No method of transmission or storage is ever 100% secure, but if a data breach occurs that's likely to cause serious harm, we'll act in line with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme and let you and the regulator know where required.
10 How long we keep your information
We keep your personal information only as long as we need it — to provide our services, run our business, and meet our legal and tax obligations (generally up to [7] years for financial records). When we no longer need it, we securely delete or de-identify it.
11 Marketing & how to opt out
If you've enquired, used one of our tools, or become a client, we may send you marketing emails about SaveFounders. You can opt out any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by emailing us. We'll action it promptly, in line with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). We'll still send you essential service messages (like booking confirmations).
12 Your privacy rights
You can ask us to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- correct anything that's wrong or out of date;
- delete your information, where we're not required to keep it;
- opt out of marketing; and
- complain if you think we've mishandled your information.
Just email us (see below). We'll usually respond within 30 days. There's no charge to make a request, though we may need to verify who you are first.
13 Children's privacy
Our services are for business owners and aren't directed at anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child has given us their information, let us know and we'll delete it.
14 Third-party links
Our site and emails may link to other websites and tools we don't control. We're not responsible for their content or privacy practices — check their own policies before sharing information with them.
15 Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "last updated" date at the top, and for significant changes we'll give you reasonable notice. The latest version always lives on this page.
